Metal Table V2 Mechanism

Unplug your Sisyphus from the wall outlet.
- For the next steps, you will need to access the underside of the Sisyphus**
It can be helpful to take a picture of the mechanism before removal for reference during the installation of the new mechanism.
- From under your Sisyphus, unplug the cables connecting the mechanism to the table frame.
- Power Cable
- LED Cable(s)
The next steps are specific to the size of the table you are working on (Side Table or Coffee Table), skip to your table size
Side Tables
- Detach the mechanism from the table frame.
- Loosen the four screws securing the mechanism to the frame (they do not need to be fully removed)
- Gently twist the mechanism counterclockwise to pull the mechanism through the slotted key holes and out of the table frame.
- Replace with your new or refurbished mechanism
- Screw back into place in the same orientation as the old mechanism (See video for reference)
- Plug the cables attached to the frame back into the mechanism (See video for reference)
- If you flipped your Sisyphus upside down, return the table to its upright position.
- Place the ball back into the center, and plug into power. Once the lights turn on and the ball begins moving, replace the glass top and enjoy!
**If you are unable to easily access the underside of your Sisyphus, you will need to flip the table upside down. Please follow the step below to safely flip over your table without damaging any components:
- Remove the glass top and deflector ring
- Scoop out as much sand as you can, save and set aside
- Thoroughly vacuum the fabric surface on the top of your table (Loose sand can cause damage to the finish of your table
- Flip the table over on a clean, flat surface
- Please wait until you have verified the replacement was a success before replacing the sand
Coffee Tables
- Detach the mechanism from the table frame.

Completely unscrew each of the 4 wing nuts.

Lift the mechanism towards the top of the table to remove each screw from its mounting hole and remove the mechanism from the frame.

- Replace with your new or refurbished mechanism
- Screw back into place in the same orientation as the old mechanism (See video for reference)
- Plug the cables attached to the frame back into the mechanism (See video for reference)
- If you flipped your Sisyphus upside down, return the table to its upright position.
- Place the ball back into the center, and plug it into power. Once the lights turn on and the ball begins moving, replace the glass top and enjoy!

Metal Table V1 Mechanism

- Replace with your new mechanism

Please refer to the LE Mechanism Removal Manual for instructions on removing and replacing your LE mechanism.
ES
- Unplug your Mini from power
- Unplug the LED cable from the underside of the mechanism
- This is the red, white, and blue cable running from the top hoop to the underside of the mechanism
- Depress the tab where the cable is plugged into the mechanism and gently pull to unplug
- Remove the top hoop (sand bed and glass) from the mechanism
- Gently pull each leg where it meets the top Hoop outwards and lift the hoop off the leg
- Attach your hoop to your new mechanism as shown in the ES User Manual.
- This installation can be done in the upright position but may be easier to install it upside down
- If you must install it upside down
- Remove the glass top
- Scoop out as much sand as you can, save and set aside
- Thoroughly vacuum the fabric surface on the top of your ES (Loose sand can cause damage to the finish of your Mini
- Flip the Hoop over on a clean, flat surface
- Plug your Mini back into power and enjoy!
EX
- Unplug your Mini from power
- Unplug the LED cable plugged into the bottom section of your EX
- Gently pull out the headphone jack plug
- Remove to top hoop from the base
- Place your hoop on the new base
- Line up the bump on the hoop with the gap in the new mechanism (indicated with a sticker)
- Plug the headphone jack into the port
- Plug your Mini back into power and enjoy!
