A hard reset should only be used if Sisyphus is not working at all. i.e. the lights do not turn on and the ball does not move. It should only be used as a last resort.

Section 1 - Hard reset through the Sisyphus App
If you can connect with the mobile app please complete a factory reset within the app
- Under the settings tab, select “Advanced settings” > “Factory Reset”
Section 2 - Troubleshooting app connection
- If you're unable to connect but the ball is moving please force your Sisyphus to “hotspot mode” as described in this article: Force hotspot mode
- If you are able to connect after step 1, jump back to section 1 of this page to reset through the app. If you are still unable to connect, proceed to the next section
Section 3 - Manual hard reset
(This feature is available for all Sisyhpus products sold with RGBW Lights and any product sold after 2021. If you have a white light-only table purchased in 2021 or older, please contact customer support)
- Unplug your Sisyphus.
- Identify the Reset Button on the underside of your Sisyphus. The Reset Button can be reached through a hole in the plastic Bottom Cover that protects the underside of your Sisyphus (see diagram). If your Sisyphus does not have a bottom cover, the reset button can be found on the green board attached to the mechanism on the underside of your Sisyphus (see image at the bottom of this article). If your Sisyphus has a bottom cover with no access hole, you will need to remove it to access the reset button.
- Using a small, blunt object such as a pen cap or pencil eraser, depress and hold the Reset Button. While holding the button down, plug your Sisyphus back into power.
- Continue holding the reset button until the red LED right by the button starts to blink. This LED will be visible through the curved slot in the Bottom Cover. This can take up to 45 seconds after powering the table.
- Once Sisyphus has restarted, connect your mobile device to the Sisyphus network and open the Sisyphus app.
- Connect the Sisyphus to your network and immediately update the firmware on Sisyphus. Be patient; updates can take up to 30 min to complete depending on your internet connection at software age. Do not attempt to unplug or power-cycle your Sisyphus during the update.
- After the update, your Sisyphus should be good to go!
