Force Hotspot Mode

This feature is available for all Sisyphus products sold with RGBW Lights and any product sold after 2021.

1. Identify the Reset Button on the underside of your Sisyphus. The Reset Button can be reached through a hole in the plastic Bottom Cover that protects the underside of your Sisyphus (see diagram). If your Sisyphus does not have a bottom cover, the reset button can be found on the green board attached to the mechanism on the underside of your Sisyphus (see image at the bottom of this article). If your Sisyphus has a bottom cover with no access hole, you will need to remove it to access the reset button. 
2. Make sure your Sisyphus is on and running.
3. Using a small, blunt object such as a pen cap or pencil eraser, depress and hold the Reset Button for 5 seconds or until the red LED adjacent to the Reset Button begins to steadily blink, then release the button. This LED will be visible through the curved slot in the Bottom Cover.
4. After an additional 5-10 seconds you should see a Sisyphus network available to connect to as a Wi-Fi hotspot from your phone or computer
   1. This network will have the name “Sisyphus”, if you changed the name of your Sisyphus the network name will reflect this change.
5. Once you see the hotspot, follow the instructions listed in this article, under the “Manual Setup” section
